Government intensifies efforts to assist Namibians stranded in Myanmar

WINDHOEK, 14 JAN (NAMPA) – The Ministry of International Relations and Trade (MIRT) said it is collaborating with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), along with regional authorities, to help Namibians stranded in Myanmar to return home.
This follows reports of six Namibian citizens who were reportedly taken to Asia and trafficked to Myanmar, where they are being held by the Myanmar military.
