Xi Calls for More Active Macroeconomic Policy in China in 2026

BEIJING, December 31 (RIA Novosti) - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday called for a more active macroeconomic policy in 2026, which will be the first year of the implementation of the 15th five-year plan, for qualitative and quantitative growth of the country's economy. "To pursue a more active macroeconomic policy, promote effective quality improvement and reasonable quantitative economic growth," Xi was quoted by the Xinhua news agency.......
