Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said Thursday he was open to mediate between the United States and Venezuela to "avoid armed conflict." Lula, one of Latin America's most influential leaders, said Brazil was "very worried" about rising tensions and was "at the disposal of both Venezuela and the US to contribute to a peaceful solution on our continent." He said he may try to speak to US President Donald Trump before Christmas to again......
