German naval firm TKMS reports record order book as revenue soars

Kiel, Germany (dpa) - Revenue and orders at Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) soared in the 2024/25 fiscal year thanks to demand for conventional submarines, Germany's largest shipbuilder said on Monday. The company's order backlog reached a record ?18.2 billion ($21.2 billion), up by 55% compared to last year, TKMS said. Sales rose by 9.3% to ?2.2 billion over the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, with TKMS reporting a net profit of ?108 m......
