WINDHOEK, 26 NOV (NAMPA) – Polling stations in the Katutura Central Constituency in Windhoek recorded low voter turnout and minor disturbances during the midday and early evening hours of the Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections on Wednesday.
Officials noted a strong initial rush when polls opened, but participation significantly dropped off as the day progressed.
