WALVIS BAY, 21 NOV (NAMPA) – Former Walvis Bay mayor Immanuel Wilfried on Friday made a brief appearance in the Walvis Bay Magistrate’s Court, on charges of alleged corruption and money laundering dating back to between 2010 and 2019.
Wilfried faces one count of contravening Section 43(1), read with Sections 1 and 49 of the Anti-Corruption Act (Act No. 8 of 2003), for allegedly corruptly using his office or position for gratification.
