Khomas gets first female commander, as Steenkamp takes advisor position

WINDHOEK, 09 NOV (NAMPA) – Commissioner Willem Steenkamp’s two-year reign at the helm of the NamPol Khomas Regional Police Command came to an end on Friday, marking the official handover of power to Commissioner Johanna Ngondo.
Effective 01 November 2025, Ngondo is the first female to serve in the commander position in Khomas.
Steenkamp will now serve as advisor in the Office of the Inspector General, a position previously held by his successor....
