WASHINGTON, November 4 (RIA Novosti) - More than 70% of Canadians would be willing to trade the country's economic growth for greater independence from the United States, an Abacus Data poll revealed on Tuesday. To the question: "I am willing to accept slower economic growth in Canada if it means greater economic independence from the United States," 71% of respondents said they strongly or somewhat agreed, the poll showed.
