Group finds 'forever chemicals' in German drinking water samples

Berlin (dpa) - A leading German environmental group has detected "forever chemicals" in nearly all drinking water samples it tested. Germany's Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND) said on Tuesday that traces of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) were found in 42 of 46 samples, although current legal limits were not exceeded.
