NEW YORK, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended mixed on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 226.19 points, or 0.48 percent, to 47,336.68. The S&P 500 added 11.77 points, or 0.17 percent, to 6,851.97. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 109.77 points, or 0.46 percent, to 23,834.72. Seven of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended in red, with materials and consumer staples leading the laggards by losing 0.56 percent and 0.47 pe......
