Magnitude 6.3 Earthquake Hits Central Afghanistan - Seismologists

MOSCOW, November 3 (RIA Novosti) - A magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred in central Afghanistan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The earthquake was recorded at 20:28 GMT some 45 kilometers east-southeast of the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, which has a population of 303,000 people. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers. There is no information yet on possible casualties or damage....
