Wall Street stocks rose Friday after a US inflation reading came in lower than expected, raising expectations for a Federal Reserve interest rate cut. The US consumer price index rose to 3.0 percent in September, accelerating from 2.9 percent on a year-on-year basis a month earlier. But that was slightly below median forecasts.
