Russia's Far East sees 90 pct rise in int'l air traffic in 2024

MOSCOW, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Air passenger traffic on international routes in Russia's Far East increased by 90 percent in 2024, Russia's Ministry of Transport said Thursday. According to the ministry, in the first eight months of 2025, the passenger traffic rose by 29 percent from the same period last year, with the main growth registered in the cities of Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
