NEW YORK, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- American Airlines on Thursday posted a smaller-than-expected loss for the third quarter of 2025, buoyed by record revenue despite headwinds from changing travel trends and rising costs. The airline reported third-quarter revenue of 13.7 billion U.S. dollars and a net loss of 114 million dollars, or 17 cents per diluted share.
