6 killed in residential building fire in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed on Wednesday in a fire in a residential building in the southern Kyrgyz city of Osh, the Emergency Ministry's press service reported. The fire broke out at approximately 3:30 a.m. Wednesday local time (2130 GMT Tuesday) in the basement of the building and quickly spread to the roof, it said.
