Nigerian troops kill 17 terrorists, nab 85 in anti-terror raids: report

ABUJA, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- At least 17 suspected terrorists were killed and 85 others arrested during raids by Nigerian troops over the past two days across the country, local media reported Monday, citing top military sources. The coordinated operations also led to the rescue of more than 10 abducted victims, with "huge successes recorded across several theaters of operation," the state-run News Agency of Nigeria quoted an unnamed army offici......
