KATIMA MULILO, 15 October 2025 - Riding to COP 30, the three cyclists, 30-year-old Derrick Kidarasi from Kenya, 30-year-old Dean Meekson from Zambia and 24-year old Enock Kitheka from Kenya have cycled over 3 200 kilometers from Kenya to the Wenela border post in Namibia on electric bicycles in an effort to send a clear message on ways to develop strategies for reducing emissions via what they term green transportation.

KATIMA MULILO, 15 October 2025 - Zambezi Regional Commander, Commissioner Andreas Shilelo on Wednesday briefly received and welcomed three in-transit cycling environmental activists who have been cycling on electric bicycles from Kenya. The trio is headed for COP 30 next month.
