Genocide affected communities call for expedited genocide negotiations

WINDHOEK, 10 OCT (NAMPA) – The traditional chiefs of the affected communities of the 1904-1908 genocide in Namibia, have called on the government and all involved parties to urgently accelerate reparation talks on the genocide.
Talks between the Namibian and German governments regarding these atrocities have been ongoing since 2013.
The call forms part of the outcomes of a two-day meeting of the Ovaherero/Ovambanderu Council for Dialogue (ONDC),...
