A federal judge on Thursday ordered a temporary halt to President Donald Trump's deployment of the Texas National Guard to Chicago against local Democratic officials' wishes, US media reported. District Judge April Perry, in a ruling from the bench, said she had seen no evidence supporting the Trump administration's claim of a "danger of rebellion" in Illinois that would warrant the domestic deployment of troops, the Chicago Tribune reported.
