Vietnam targets GDP per capita of 8,500 USD by 2030

HANOI, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam aims to raise its gross domestic product (GDP) per capita to about 8,500 U.S. dollars by 2030, according to the adjusted National Master Plan, local daily Nhan Dan reported Tuesday. Under the adjusted plan, the service sector is expected to contribute over 50 percent of GDP, while the industry and construction sector will account for more than 40 percent.
