Germany's public broadcasters to air 60 World Cup matches

Berlin (dpa) - Germany's public broadcasters ARD and ZDF are to show the most important matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to information obtained by dpa. The two broadcasters secured the rights through a complex sublicensing agreement with Deutsche Telekom, which had acquired the tournament's TV rights three months ago.
