U.S. stocks close mixed

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended mixed on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 63.31 points, or 0.14 percent, to 46,694.97. The S&P 500 added 24.49 points, or 0.36 percent, to 6,740.28. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 161.16 points, or 0.71 percent, to close at 22,941.67. Seven of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended higher, with consumer discretionary and utilities leading the gainers by rising 1.05 percent and 0.98......
