South African President Announces Plans to Diversify Country's Trading Partners

MOSCOW, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday announced plans to diversify the country's trading partners and implement measures to mitigate the impact of economic barriers such as tariffs. The US imposed a 30% tariff on South African imports starting August 7. Ramaphosa vowed to continue diplomatic efforts to secure balanced trade relations with the US​​​.
