WASHINGTON, October 2 (RIA Novosti) - Bulls on Wall Street appeared to have cast aside economic uncertainties from the first US government shutdown in six years, pushing futures of the blue-chip S&P 500 index to new highs on Thursday. By 7:35 AM US Eastern Time (11:35 GMT), futures of the 500-stock index were up 15 points, or 0.2%, at 6,776, after hitting a record high at 6,777.
