WINDHOEK, 28 SEP (NAMPA) – A wildfire that started on 22 September 2025 has swept through large parts of Etosha National Park (ENP), burning more than 775 000 hectares of land, the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) said Saturday.
The blaze, suspected to have originated from charcoal production on bordering commercial farms, has spread across the western, central and southern zones of the park, affecting Dolomite, Okatutu, Renos...
