Vietnam's automobile import hits record high in 8 months

HANOI, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's import value of completely built-up automobiles hit a record high of 3.02 billion U.S. dollars in the first eight months of this year, local daily Nhan Dan reported Friday, citing data from Vietnam Customs. The country imported 137,821 completely built-up automobiles during the period, the report said.
