Namibia records 706 human trafficking cases

OSHAKATI, 05 SEP (NAMPA) – A total of 706 human trafficking cases were reported in Namibia between March 2024 and August 2025.
Of these, 36 were confirmed, while 670 remain classified as high-risk.
This was revealed by Chrispin Kamwi, Deputy Director for Immigration and Border Control in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security.
