WINDHOEK, 05 SEP (NAMPA) – President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has appointed Ambassador Penda Naanda as Namibia’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
His appointment was announced by Presidency Press Secretary Jonas Mbambo in a media statement on Friday.
Naanda will take over from former Ambassador Neville Gertze, who served the office since 2017, with immediate effect
