Sugar futures close higher

ZHENGZHOU, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Sugar futures closed higher Friday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active sugar contract for January 2026 delivery gained 3 yuan (42 U.S. cents) to close at 5,604 yuan per tonne.
