U.S. FDA approves updated COVID shots with new restrictions

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved updated COVID-19 vaccines but significantly restricted their use for many Americans. "FDA has now issued marketing authorization for those at higher risk: Moderna (6 months and older), Pfizer (5 years and older) and Novavax (12 years and older)," U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
