Over 43 mln tonnes of water channeled from coastal Fujian to Kinmen since 2018

BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Over 43 million tonnes of water have been channeled from the coast of Fujian Province to Kinmen since a water supply project began official operations in August 2018, a spokesperson for the Chinese mainland said on Wednesday. Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said that water from coastal Fujian accounts for 81.9 percent of the total regular water supply at Kinmen's waterworks......
