India approves 4 new semiconductor manufacturing units

NEW DELHI, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Indian government has approved four new semiconductor manufacturing units in three different states at an estimated cost of 46 billion Indian rupees (around 525 million U.S. dollars), said an official statement. The approval was given at a federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
