MOSCOW, August 13 (RIA Novosti) - The Czech Defense Ministry approved on Tuesday the purchase of the first 44 Leopard 2A8 tanks from Germany for 34.2 billion Czech koruny ($1.63 billion), Czech media reported. The first tanks in combat and command modifications are to arrive in the Czech Republic in 2028, with the order scheduled to be fully completed in 2031, the CTK news agency reported on Tuesday.
