Dismay as German village's prized koi carp stolen overnight

Stuttgart (dpa) - A German village's prized koi carp has been stolen from a fountain, causing dismay among local residents. Unknown thieves stole the fish - nicknamed Kurt - on Friday night from the municipality of Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl in south-western Germany, police said on Tuesday.
