WINDHOEK, 12 AUG (NAMPA) – Former Chief of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF), Lieutenant General (Rtd) Dumeni Solomon Hawala died on Monday at his homestead at Ohakweenyanga in the Oshana Region.
The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs announced the death of the 89-year-old retired military leader in a statement issued by Colonel Petrus Shilumbu, the Head of the ministry’s Public Relations Division, on Monday.
