Liu Ziyi claims China's historic first squash win at World Games

CHENGDU, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- China's squash player Liu Ziyi made history at The World Games 2025 here on Saturday, beating Australia's Emily Lamb 3-2 in the women's singles round of 16 plate, the host nation's first squash victory at the multi-sport event. The 18-year-old, competing in her first World Games, lost the opening game 11-7, but nailed down the next two 11-9, 11-3, before Lamb pulled back on level terms with an 11-5 win in the fourth......
