Lippstadt, Germany (dpa) - Some 2,000 demonstrators have joined a protest against a ban on abortion procedures in a German clinic run by a Catholic hospital operator, police said on Friday. The demonstration at the Lippstadt Clinic in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia was called by chief physician Joachim Volz and Green politician Sarah Gonschorek, under the motto "Stop the Catholic ban on abortion."
