Mining expo opens with call for inclusive growth and sector reform

WINDHOEK, 05 AUG (NAMPA) – The 12th edition of Namibia’s Mining Expo and Conference officially opened on Tuesday with a record number of exhibitors and a renewed national call for mining to serve broader social economic transformation goals.
Held at the Windhoek Showgrounds, the expo features 198 exhibitors and 335 booths, its largest turnout to date. The event will run for three full days for the first time in its history.
