London (PA Media/dpa) - Older male endurance athletes may be at higher risk of heart scarring and related complications, according to a new study. Sudden cardiac death is a "leading cause of mortality" in athletes, experts said as they set out to investigate whether endurance athletes had heart scarring and linked heart rhythm problems.
