Mainz appeal at highest DFB court against cup match scheduling

Mainz (dpa) - Bundesliga club Mainz plan to lodge a complaint at the German Football Federation (DFB) federal court over the scheduling of their first-round Cup match after two previous appeals have been rejected. Mainz are scheduled to play at promoted second division side Dynamo Dresden on August 18 and will then have a Conference League play-off match three days later.
