Germany's Birth Rate Falls to 30-Year Low - Statistics

MOSCOW, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - The birth rate in Germany has fallen to its lowest level in the past 30 years, according to data published by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on Thursday. In 2024, the birth rate in Germany dropped to 1.35 children per woman, which is in line with the figures of 1996-1997 years​​​.
