7 officers arrested for suspected drug trafficking in Indonesia

JAKARTA, July 10 (Xinhua) -- A chief of narcotics unit in Nunukan regency, North Kalimantan province, has been arrested along with six of his subordinates for alleged involvement in drug trafficking, Indonesia's National Police said on Thursday. The arrests took place on Wednesday on Sebatik Island. All seven officers were now being questioned by the National Police's internal affairs division in Jakarta.
