U.S. stocks close higher

NEW YORK, June 24 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 507.24 points, or 1.19 percent, to 43,089.02. The S&P 500 added 67.01 points, or 1.11 percent, to 6,092.18. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 281.56 points, or 1.43 percent, to 19,912.53. Nine of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended in green, with technology and financials leading the gainers by rising 1.61 percent and 1.50 percent......
