Prosecutors in the Dominican Republic on Monday called for Major League Baseball star Wander Franco to be given a five-year jail term at his trial for alleged sexual abuse of a minor. The 24-year-old Tampa Bay Rays player is on trial in his homeland over his alleged sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl in December 2022.
