Former keeper Benaglio returns to Wolfsburg as board member

Berlin (dpa) - Former VfL Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio is returning to the club as a member of the supervisory board, the Bundesliga side said on Monday in a statement. The former Swiss international played in goal for Wolfsburg for nine years from 2008 to 2017, winning the Bundesliga title in 2009 and the German Cup in 2015, and becoming the goalkeeper with the most appearances for the Wolves.
