UK Lower House of Parliament Approves Bill on Euthanasia

LONDON, June 20 (RIA Novosti) - The House of Commons, the lower house of the UK parliament, on Friday voted to adopt a bill allowing terminally ill adults over 18 with less than six months to live to request euthanasia. Following several hours of debates, 314 lawmakers voted in favor of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, while 291 voted against.
