India's forex reserves rise to nearly 699 billion USD

NEW DELHI, June 20 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves rose by 2.294 billion U.S. dollars to 698.95 billion dollars during the week ended June 13, according to the weekly data released by the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India, on Friday. In the preceding week, the country's forex reserves had increased by 5.171 billion dollars. The data also revealed that the foreign currency assets increased by 1.739 billi......
