Ogongo harvesting about 18 tonnes of rice

OGONGO, 19 JUN (NAMPA) – The University of Namibia's (UNAM) Ogongo Campus is anticipating a significant rice harvest this year, with an estimated 18 metric tonnes expected.
This marks an increase of about four tonnes compared to last year’s yield.
UNAM on Thursday hosted its annual rice harvest festival at the Ogongo Campus, celebrating the ongoing success of the Japan-Namibia rice and mahangu project.
