Bayern to get compensation, want better protection over Davies injury

Munich (dpa) - Bayern Munich will receive compensation from the ruling body FIFA over a severe injury of their full back Alphonso Davies while on international duty for Canada, and are urging national federations to protect Bayern players in a better way. Davies sustained a ruptured cruciate ligament and other knee damage in March playing for his home country. He is sidelined for many months.
