Namibia welcomes adoption of AI in Parliament operations

WINDHOEK, 04 JUN (NAMPA) – Namibia supports initiatives encouraging parliaments to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) to improve their legislative operations, Speaker of the National Assembly, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, has said.
Speaking at the 57th Plenary Assembly Session of the SADC Parliamentary Forum in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, on Wednesday, she revealed that Namibia is in the early stages of implementing AI tools in Parliament.
